I HAVE RESOLVE FOUNDATION

EquineAbility Therapeutic Riding Centre, Port Colborne, had a shining light appear during the pandemic shutdown of our therapeutic riding for clients with challenges. I Have Resolve Foundation, Georgetown, visited the farm and made the decision to support our organization through a partnership with Willow Cakes and Pastries Inc, Niagara-on-the-Lake. Their charity was founded on the love for their late son Jason who had Duchene Muscular Dystrophy and his message of resolve and their wish to support inclusion for all. As EquineAbility serves people of all ages with various life challenges, we were a good fit for their mission and on Sept. 19, they presented a cheque. In attendance were Tessa Cassolato, a new EquineAbility client, and her mom Nicole, Cowboy, Angie Ruigrok, certified trainer, George Schmidt, chair of EA, and Jennine and John Ditz of I Have Resolve Foundation.

KEN AND BEV BYBERG

Ken and Bev Byberg of Pelham, are ongoing supporters of our charity and in 2020 had a tour of the farm and Bev got to meet Zeus up close. Supporters like Ken and Bev are very important to us, especially during the pandemic, to enable us to maintain our operation of providing interaction with horses whether riding or driving the cart to those of all ages who are living with challenges. George Schmidt, Chair, presented EquineAbility mugs as our thanks and a memento of their visit.
